Membership eligibility is open to PEs; EIs/EITs; graduates of engineering and engineering technology programs accredited by the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET). Full time Engineering students in an undergraduate or graduate engineering program accredited by ABET or pre engineering program that leads to engineering licensure can join as student members.

This organization requires membership at all three levels of the Society. By joining NYSSPE, you automatically join the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) and a local chapter. The following link will take you to the NSPE Membership Site where you can select their online registration form. Please indicate New York State (NYSSPE) as your preferred State Society. You will be assigned to a local chapter based on your address, unless you have a different preference.
