Call for Seminars

Seminar presentations are sought for all engineering disciplines!

• Interested presenters are to submit the NYSSPE State Meeting Program Submittal form and all materials requested.

• Presentations which satisfy NYS Mandatory Continuing Education Requirements will be given preference and evaluated at no charge.

• Speakers are eligible for up to triple continuing education credit (credit for participating, plus 2x hours for preparation time) Example: The course is approved for 1 PDH, the speaker would get 3 PDHs. NYSSPE will provide the speaker with the certificate to document this credit.

• Courses submitted are good for NYSSPE/Chapter events ONLY, the course can NOT be “taken on the road”. If you wish to submit a course and take it on the road, you can submit it to The Practicing Institute of Engineering www.pie-cpc.org

• As a thank-you for presenting, we will waive the registration fee for our event so you can attend other sessions or meetings at no charge, provide you with a free lunch on the day you present, a speaker certificate and a conference gift.

NYSSPE Annual Convention: June 5-7, 2008 at the Renaissance Syracuse Hotel, Syracuse, NY. We have 20 slots of 1-2 hours duration available to fill.

NYSSPE Fall Professional Developement Conference: November 7-8, 2008 at the Gideon Putnam, Saratoga, NY. We have 11 slots of 1-2 hour duration available to fill.
